This mix will make 2 loaves of 1 pound artisan bread
You will need:
1 Pouch of Studio B GF Artisan Bread Mix
1 1/2 cups of warm water
2 room temp eggs
1 tbsn yeast
+ additional ingredients garlic / rosemary, cheddar & jalapeño, etc.
Step 1. Mix eggs, warm water, & yeast in a large bowl.
Step 2. Add Studio B GF Artisan Bread to water mixture. If adding flavors, add them to dry mix before adding it to the water mixture. This gently coats the ingredients and prevents the need to over mix.
Step 3. Mix ingredients quickly for about 30 - 60 seconds. Do not over mix. If the dough still has dry spots add water 1/2 tablespoon at a time.
Step 4. Cover dough, and let rise for 2 hours. It may not double in size, but you should see some growth.
Step 5. Pre-heat oven (& dutch oven) to 450 degrees
For loaf bread, split dough in half and place prepared bread pans. Wet hands and smooth dough in to place. Let rest for an additional 30 - 60 minutes.
For boules (round loaves) or dinner rolls, divide dough evenly. Wet hands and gently squeeze into rounds. Place on parchment paper. Let rest an additional 30 minutes. Do not exceed four hours of rise/rest.
Step 6: Score bread. Cut at least one slit across the top of the loaf, 1/4 inch deep.
Step 7: Bake for 30 minutes. Enjoy. Best to let rest & cool before cutting into it.
Bread Mix Blend Includes: brown rice flour, tapioca flour, sorghum flour, potato flour, xanthan gum, kosher salt.
