Summer just got a whole lot sweeter!!
Summer Baking Camp participants will learn the basics of baking through demonstration and hands-on activities. Each day brings a new topic and teaches a new skill. Participants will also receive an experience packet where they will be able to document their journey. This packet will include tips/tricks and recipes of the baked goods. Each participant will bring baked goods home to share with friends & family.
Summer Art Camp participants will be given the tools and space to create. Each week will include its own theme from drawing, textiles, pottery and paint.
This baking camp is for kids ages 6-17.
Dates: Monday - Thursday
- Morning Session: 9:00am - 12:00pm (Early Drop off available for $15/per day 8:00am)
- Afternoon Session 1:00pm - 4:00pm (Late Pick Up available for $15/per day 5:00pm)

AM: Intro to Baking: We will be talking a lot about butter and the science of baking. Making butter, cookies, scones, and muffins.
PM: Drawing in Nature: pencils, charcoal, oil pastels, chalk pastels
June 24-27,2024
AM: Intro to Bread: quick breads, breads & sweet dough: we will discuss all the different types of breads and how they are a little bit different to prepare. Think banana bread, apple cinnamon bread, & cinnamon rolls.
PM: Watercolor:
July 15-18, 2024
AM: Intro to Sourdough & discard recipes: we will make sourdough, talk about the natural yeast/fermentation process, make/feed sourdough starters, and make sourdough waffles/pancakes & other discard baked treats.
PM: Textiles: Weaving, macramé, rugs & more...
July 29 - Aug 1, 2024
AM: cakes & cupcakes: flavors, fillings, buttercream & decoration
PM: Pottery: Pinch pots, wheel/trimming practice, sculpting
August 12-15, 2024
AM: cookies & bars & pies with fresh fruit. Participants will learn how to incorporate fresh fruit into their baked goods.
PM: open art: painting, drawing, arts/crafts, textiles, sewing, etc.
For full day option: at check out choose baking am & art pm & add-on full day for the week you would like to join.
